THINK TOGETHER ASSOCIATION – T.T.A DEAR FRIENDS: We are a group of Palestinian women who are currently preparing a delegation for travel to the northwest of USA in July 2003 to discuss life under the Israeli occupation So: First – we need to find NGOS to host us & coordinate meetings & seminars with people to have chance to sell handmade things and look for fund to our programs. Second - we need invitation from NGOS to some people to start trying to got Visa for them Third - we need fund for plane tickets and staying for 2 persons for 3 weeks in July 2003. This is first cover letter: and we are waiting your comments. To all activists for peace, We are seeking partners who will aid us in commencing & consolidate funding for the following five programs: 1- The first hostel in Gaza strip to help the foreigners having save place to stay and coordinate their programs ,work , meetings , volunteering , educate, etc . 2- Reinstitute meetings between Palestinian and Israeli women peace activists to develop a new agenda of responsibilities during this difficult period. 3-Promote abroad the sale of handmade embroidery, pottery, and webs of women from refugee camps in Gaza. These are goods they are not able to sell in the weak Palestinian market, and the revenues will help them provide for their families. 4- The first professional daycare center in the Gaza Strip. This will provide a comfortable and safe place for the children of working women during times when they either work or must look for work. 5- Theatre activities (festivals, puppets, and painted masks) for children who live near Israeli settlements to help counter any psychological problems. We are specifically looking for contacts with NGOS who have programs in peace, women’s, and children’s fields in the U.S.A.
